STEVEN GROSSO was born and raised in South Philadelphia, PA (1985) and is an American author of a detective series set throughout Philadelphia, in sections such as Rittenhouse Square, Old City, Center City, his hometown of South Philly, and more. 

His BENNY STEEL novels, featuring Philadelphia homicide detectives Benjamin Steel and Marisa Tulli, are laced with passion and authenticity, the gritty feel of Philadelphia woven through the storytelling, with relatable, down-to-earth characters that thrust the reader into the darkest and brightest recesses of the human mind and spirit.

Steven currently lives in Philadelphia and is working on his fourth novel. He holds an MBA. He has appeared on ABC News Radio; The Laura Coates Show on SiriusXM Radio with CNN Legal Analyst Laura Coates; This Morning, America's First News with Gordon Deal; the iTunes podcast The Fantasy Fool; 700 WLW Cincinnati News Radio on iHeart Radio; and KCMO Talk Radio to discuss his novel series. His series was featured in an article in The South Philly Review, and he appeared on the TV show The Philly Factor.
